Pet Policy

These rules govern stays with pets at TON (the "Facility"), an accommodation facility operated by BUPPHA Inc. This page is an English-language reference; the Japanese version (ペット同伴利用規則) prevails in case of any discrepancy.

Preamble

The Facility welcomes pets under certain conditions. These rules are stipulated so that every guest can enjoy their stay, and compliance with them forms part of the conditions of stay.

Article 1 (Pets We Can Accept)

  1. Only pets weighing 10 kg or less may stay. Any species is welcome.
  2. Pets weighing more than 10 kg cannot be accepted.
  3. A maximum of 2 pets may stay.

Article 2 (Pet Fee)

  1. The pet fee is ¥5,000 per pet.
  2. The fee is charged together with the accommodation charges.

Article 3 (Advance Declaration)

  1. If you are bringing a pet, declare the number and type of pets when booking.
  2. If an undeclared pet is discovered, we may refuse the stay and charge additional cleaning fees.

Article 4 (Conditions of Use and Owner Responsibilities)

  1. Pets must be up to date on vaccinations (including rabies vaccination for dogs).
  2. Indoors, keep pets in a cage or pen as a rule, and do not let them directly onto furniture or bedding.
  3. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
  4. If barking or other noise disturbs the neighbors or other guests, we may ask you to take measures.
  5. Do not leave pets alone in the house while you go out.

Article 5 (Off-Limits Areas)

  1. Pets are not allowed in the sauna room or the kitchen's food preparation area.

Article 6 (Damage)

  1. Where a pet soils or damages the Facility, its equipment or furnishings, the owner will be charged the costs of restoration.
